S&W 686 6 cut to 5 w/dovetail front sight

I read a thread where the gunsmith cut a 686 down to 5, profiled the face and cut the crown. The custom front sight was dovetail cut from the muzzle to match a S&W base with interchangeable blades.

I cant find the thread now and Ive bageld on searches. Heck, Im not sure if I read it here or on arf.com. Does this custom work sound familiar?

Any help is appreciated.
