From about s/n 1060100 to about s/n 1082000, the “P” proof was applied at the left edge of the slide because of a poorly drawn ordnance drawing showing the placement of the proof.
Would be interesting to see better close ups of this slide.
Any particular feature, Sergio? I just have my cellphone for pics, but i will try to comply. I thought the double "dropped p" stampings on the slide were interesting!
Just a typical human mistake. Somebody was dreaming about their significant other and accidentally marked the same slide twice. Either that or they marked the first P in the wrong spot and decided to hit it again in the right spot.
