"New" Para P-13.45

I decided to trade my Glock 19 for a fellow's Para Ord P13. After many screwups, delays and acts of outrageous idiocy by our respective FFLs -- the sordid tale of which could be an entire post in itself (we both live in different states) I received it.

It looked good, just a little dirty so I stripped it down and cleaned it, then off to the range.

I fired 150 rounds through it: a box of Speer Lawman 230FMJ, a box of my own 230 LRN reloads and a box of my 200 LSWC. All fed perefectly except for one of the preban mags, which had a propensity to jam. The other two prebans and 3 aftermarket 10 rounds (including of all things a USA mag) fed flawlessly.

Accuracy was wonderful. From about 15 yards I was able to hit whatever I aimed at and it grouped very nicely.

Recoil seemed almost nonexistent...even less than that of my full size Gov't model, excellent control and easy follow-up shots.

I am much more accurate with it than with my Glock -- the trigger really makes a huge difference.

I'm certainly happy with my trade.

I am completely happy with the 2 P13-45 Ltd.'s that I own. Both extremely accurate and reliable.

Glad your experience was good too
