New Blaster in the House!

Just received my new Commander/Compact in 45acp. I have a Wilson 5Ē but was looking for something smaller for carry. I figured the 4.25Ē barrel would be great, but I was a little worried about the compact frame (grip). I have fairly big hands but they fit the compact grip great. Canít wait to get to the range!

Welcome to the forum, and to the Wilson sub-forum. Congrats on the new pistol, sounds like it will be a great carry gun. Let us know how it shoots for you when you get a range trip on it. Oh, and "pics or it didn't happen" as we say around here.

No word yet - mine was kitted on April 8 (my youngest granddaughter's 5th birthday), although I placed the order in February on hold until I decided the last few details. Gave them the last few details on April 6, and it was kitted on April 8.

Really nice pistol bubber - especially like the round butt configuration.

I was wrong on the date, mine was kitted on April 14, a week later than yours. Seems like a long time when youíre waiting.

It does sometimes, but let's not hijack bubber's thread. Send me a PM if you want to discuss ours further.

Anything that might make it carry easier.

I had no problem with the straight grip as far as carry, but for high round count range sessions the straight grip would eventually dig into my aging heel of the strong hand. I found the round butt configuration to completely alleviate that - bear in mind that all I was shooting at the time was full power .45 ACP, but my preference once I tried the rounded butt was cemented in place by the time I bought the 9mm's. The round butt mag well is all I order these days.
