Duty - SA TRP Operator with a Surefire X300. Going to be swapping out the adjustable rear for a Harrison rear sight.

Off Duty - Kimber Series 1 Compact Stainless for the colder months and an SA EMP9 during the warmer weather.

while in full duty gear I am forced to carry a block but whatever. Now with that being said when I am not in full duty gear I carry a Kimber TLE RL (Class B, khaki BDU's ,green Dept. polo shirt ) If I am not forced to carry the Block I don't unless I am on the river then the little G27 tags along the Kimber doesn't like water all that much and I have a tendency to be lazy.

Kimber

Kimber Tactial Custom II with Wilson 47d's.

Duty Holster is a Safariland 6280 STX Basketweave with sentry option.

Three extra magazines in a Safariland Triple Magazine Pouch.

Love it It takes the space of a standard double magazine pouch.

It has no extra weight since magazines are vertical.

I like the aluminum frame because I can carry it all shift and my back does not hurt. I have had two bad car wrecks and weight is a definite factor in carrying everything on my belt.

I have owned a Springfield TRP and a S & W 1911 Stainless Target Model.

Both were flawless, but too heavy.

I had a Kimber Tactial Custom II with External Extractor that was flawless.

I had to sell it to pay bills.

Got the money to buy it back after a year and it was stolen from the buyer the day before I had the money.........

I also had a S & W 1911PD Commander. Flawless.

Regret selling it to pay bills. Great Duty/Off Duty Gun.

Duty Ammo is either Federal 230 gr Hydra Shock or Remington 230 gr Golden Saber.

17 years and counting

Combat Commander.

Off duty, Plain Clothes and Back Up only - but "not to be visible in uniform".
When the SHTF the 1911s would come out causing some double takes with the revolvers still occupying their holsters.

I have had many 1911s since, but this has always been my favorite.
I was packing it when I got married, when my son and daughter were born, when my dad died and when my daughter recently got married.
I guess you can say it's my "marryin' and buryin' gun.

Still have it. Still carry it from time to time.

Thank you. It got me that expert pin, something my P226 couldn't do. I shouldn't blame it on the gun though.

I am carrying my WC CQB for both uniform and plainclothes duty. Off duty, it's either a Kimber Ultra Carry II or my trusty little Smith 638.

I have been carrying a KIMBER SIS RL for the past year (45ACP).

In a couple of months, I should have the Springfield Professional Model that I ordered over a year ago. Once it has had 500 or so rounds through it, the Kimber will move from #1 to #2.

I also have a Colt Combat Elite on the way.
