When I started here, in 2008, we were issued 180gr Golden Saber Bonded .40. A few years later, when Ammo got scarce, we got the regular 180gr Golden Saber. I asked why we were no longer carrying Bonded and the Rangemaster said they were all the same. After I pointed out they were different, he shrugged his shoulders and said, “Well, these are cheaper.” I still carry Bonded in the chamber and mag kept in the issued (forced) G22. The rest of my mags are the current issue.

If it feeds and fires 100% in your pistol and you can place your shots consistently it really does not matter what brand you use. If you see any feed problems whatsoever try something else or have a smith look at your gun and magazines.

Gold dot across the board. 230 grain in .45 and 124-grain +P in 9. Has worked very well in all of our shooting incidents. We had some issues with the old Hydra-shok loads years ago (poor expansion, bad fragmentation through auto glass)

We also had the same problem w/ Hydra-Shok in a shooting and dumped them in-favor of Range-T (nee Black Talon). No one has used it in the field yet...

I keep hearing good things about Gold Dot.

Don't trust Cavery Grips/American Gripz. He WILL rip you off.
All my 1911s are in .45acp. Why? Because no one makes one in .46cal.--Me
The 9mm is a SD cartridge fit only for women and Europeans--Me
