Para Trigger

Good morning

I am thinking about buying a Para expert commander. However, The gun I am looking at has the aluminum skeletonized trigger instead of the New Black one.
I have read about the controversy over Remington and such and problems with the Para 1911 at the time..

The guy is asking 550 BNIB would the but worth it and is this a better gun than the newer one (Black Trigger)??
Also does this have the match barrell like the newer ones do?

Just looking for better information to make a good buy..

Thanks

Dusty

The black trigger is Para’s polymer trigger. The aluminum one looks like a Brown or other aftermarket one. Might be original. As long as the trigger was fit properly and functions correctly, either should be fine. Just personal preference. I personally like the aluminum one, so it wouldn’t stop me.

Same trigger as in mine , bought a few years back. Nothing wrong with it. Lightweight. I've said often , my Para lightweight Expert Commander is probably the best 'deal' in a box-stock factory 1911 I've ever gotten.

I wish mine had at least that trigger. I have a old Canadian model and the trigger looks terrible. I really would like to have a polymer one but just can't find one.
