Everytown attempting to buy Texas House seats with $250K ad campaign

By Dave Workman

Quote:
The Michael Bloomberg-backed Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund has reportedly “rolled out a $250,000 ad campaign” in an effort to flip Republican-held House seats in Texas, according to The Hill.

According to The Hill, “the gun control group’s ads will run in districts held by Reps. Dan Crenshaw, Michael McCaul, John Carter and Chip Roy, as well as the state’s 24th Congressional District, where Beth Van Duyne is running for Congress.”

Imagine what he could do if he used his money to shelter the homeless or find a cure for cancer. Instead that idiot wastes billions of dollars trying to further his personal and political agenda. Hopefully more people have woken up in the wake of his failed presidential bid and realize that he is just an egotistical 1-percenter who is trying to buy off this country.

You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

At least we got to watch him embarrass himself a few months ago. He learned that name recognition doesn't equal popularity via the expensive way.

I doubt that matters to them; if his cause aligns with theirs, they'll support him.

"Hopefully" doesn't feed the bull dog. We are in a war with people who hate America and want to destroy it. And they will use any tactic, any weapon, to achieve their goal.

No surprise. Bloomberg seems to have a bottomless pit full of money to push his communist dreams of a New World Order with China ruling over everyone.

He tried that here too with the Florida Senate Leader. Half a million from Bloomberg-backed "movements"

Didn't work. But we need to nip this in the bud. Is there a list of Bloomberg-backed state-level gun-control efforts? I bet the vast majority are backed by him.

This needs to be yelled out to the mainstream crowd.

Texans need to get out and vote and send Bloomberg another message his money can't be used to usurp the U.S. Constitution and BoR.

He won't get far in the district I'm in, maybe why he is not targeting the district I'm in. He is an envious, covetous, little rich twerp that has delusions of godhood. He is a sorry little carpetbagger; and I AM being nice.

IMOA, anti-gun Bloomberg is and will meet more resistance than ever, gun owners are becoming more vocal than before. Bloomberg tried to buy the DNC nomination with his money and was sent packing. The gun owners of Texas aren't just going to stand on the sidelines anymore quietly while anti-gunners try to pass more BS gun laws.

Robert Francis O'Rourke, supported by huge sums of out of state money, did very well in Texas. Almost unseated a long seated incumbent by outspending him 10x or 100x the money (forget which...but there was a huge disparity of money spent).

Agreed, Bloomberg is a fungus.....But his money will fund organizing efforts and buy votes.

On that note.

One might be wise to consider.

“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.” – Samuel Adams

I sincerely believe that Doomberg needs to go on the campaign trail with Biden... and shake as many hands as possible, hug as many people as possible... especially those who are infected with COVID-19 but don't know it yet.

Don't forget, however, that Ted Cruz understood that Robert F. O'Rourke was really no threat at all in Texas, otherwise he would have campaigned harder. If Cruz had campaigned harder, the election wouldn't have even been close.

The saddest thing about O Rourke is that not only is he a terrible politician, but a terrible person as well. Hit and runs, DWIs, burglaries, and being just being a moron in general are part of his track record. In spite of this, many of supporters treated him like the second coming of Christ.

He and Biden are both evidence, that the DNC will look past human decency and lack of character, if there's a chance of the candidate winning.

Districts in and around Houston and Harris county better wake up or the same thing could happen that brought in Turner as mayor and Hidalgo as County Judge. 10% voter turnout led to the BS that's now going on in the biggest city and county in Texas.

And the media is not only complicit in this, but an active participant.

I wish this particular story would get more widespread distribution than it has, but I know it won't.

Don't get me wrong. No doubt Mr. O'Rourke is a douche bag. That said you have to admit the truckloads of out of state money made him competitive.

Perhaps Mr Cruz played it a little too casually or maybe it was just the media spin.

For the rest of the country it seemed like Mr Cruz dodged a bullet.

Then Mr. O'Rourke got to play with 21 other dirt bags on the Democrat debate stage. All that out of state money bought him access to that stage.

The primary benefit of wealth is that it buys opportunity and access.

You don't get rid of cockroaches by ignoring them. You step on them and crush them and grind them into the cement. That's what Republicans have to do to Democrats in November, in the race for the White House, the Senate and the House. If we don't win them all, we've lost.

Stomping on them only stops those you see.

To eliminate roaches the only option is to prevent them from multiplying. Use an Insect Growth Regulator, it prevents the young from molting, which kills them before they can reproduce.

The Democrat equivalent would be to get a hold of our schools and stop the spread of political correctness and Marxism to our young's minds. Do that enough, and no more Socialist Democrats.

But I agree, most forcefully: This November, put any and all Dems in the unemployment line, where they belong. That way, they can get a real taste of how their subjects live.
