Another too good to be true? Premier II Super Tactical

Just found this on my local guns for sale website:

'For sale is my like new Les Baer 1911. This is the Premier II Super Tactical model with the adjustable rear battle sights. Condition is Very Good/Excellent. Comes with (3) Baer tuned magazines, no box or other paperwork.
$1,600.00'

I'm really thinking of jumping on this. Any opinions on this model? I really don't care much for adj sites but they call them 'battle sites' so...

I have a Super Tac with the 1.5 inch guarantee that I lucked into at my LGS several years ago. A gentleman was trading it in and the manager came over to ask me what it was worth....I told him $1,000 as this store does not carry Baers and had no clue about value. It was traded and afterwards the manager came back to me to see if I wanted it for $1,000. BINGO, it was mine. I sent the slide off to John Harrison for his replacement fixed rear sight and a fiber optic front. It is by far my most accurate 1911 and I do like the rear fixed sight. Good luck with the Super if you get it.......I would.

You will have to look it over to decide, if it is indeed like new that is a okay deal. But remember one persons Very Good/Excellent is another persons

Got it....

Nice shape finish is 99.9%. Called LB it's a 2006 gun. First painted gun I've owned... I figured since new this model is $2,650 with god knows what wait I can't get in too much trouble.

He said it was a standard build no options so I'm guessing no. 1 1/2 would do nothing for me there's no way i could shoot groups that small at 50 yards.

Nice. I called Trijicon earlier due to the night sights are pretty dim. They said since it's only 9 years old and the sights have a 12 year warranty to send in the slide for new vials.

Great deal. When my front dimmed (older Super Tac than yours) I had a fiber optic put on the front. I like it much better now.

I just spoke to Trijicon. My sights are covered under warranty so new night sights for free and I'll get the slide back next week!

I think you did very good on your newly acquired Baer. I have had no issues with my Baer magazines. These guns are workhorses, and are meant to be shot. Congrats.
