Good luck . Yes their maybe a dealer still holding on to one . Gunbroker is you
best bet just be patient and keep looking . New very hard to find , used you have
a better chance but still hard to find .

Here is a perfect example if SACS was taking in work . You could buy a 9mm
1911 operator from Springfield and have it made into a Combat operator .

Good luck in your hunt . They were made in 2015 only for Lipsey's

They are great pistols, changed my mind about buying a TRP. A few members here bought them and for one reason or another sold them off. One will pop up on auction sites occasionally. The CO sales didn't take off right away and there was a bunch on GB for quite a while. I think it was Billy1911 that broke the news about the CO on the forum and actually posted pics of the GB auction of the CO I bought (thanks Billy). I would like to know how many CO's were made in each caliber and what ever happened to the 10mm version they were supposed to release. Don't give up jedi they are worth the search. Geeeeez Billy I didn't realize I've had the CO for five years.

I was going to by a Warren tactical in 9mm when I found out about the CO .
I don't know if I broke the news or not . But when I saw one in person after
finding the Lipsey's article . I was sold . I think because know one really
knew about them in 2015 . The 9's just sat for awhile , then the 45's came out .
Then they sat for awhile . By 2016 they started selling slow . Then they kind of
caught on by 2017 they were pretty much sold out . Then people started offering
them up used in 2018 and finally the last of the new stuff ran dry .

I think because they took so long to sell they never went to the 10mm in 2016
like they said was going to happen . They would be big sellers today . Great pistol
with great options . Lipsey's knows what 1911 people like . 2toes22 you have
always had a good eye for pistols . Time does fly I can't believe how much I've
learned about 1911's in the 10 years I've joined the sight and a great group of
people I've talked with , shot with , become friends with , and learn from over
the years . Then their is the Colt Cult people . lol . Oh well their is a
down side to everything ... lol

The years I really miss was when SACS was in full swing and people were
having 1911's customized all the time . Great works of art . ACW is doing
his own thing just down the street from SACS customizing pistols . Colt
had a custom shop that was super slow but they were putting out guns .
Wilson was doing off menu guns and more options . Nighthawk has now
kind of picked up on that side these days . 1911's have come along way

I have the 9mm and, while it really is intended for my oldest daughter, she has yet to say the magic word, "mine".

Not my fault she doesn't have the ability to communicate ownership. Until then, possession is 9/10 of the law.

It shoots very well all of the time. Me, not so much. I know when it misses, it is my fault.

I am always looking out for the .45 version. Would have had one too if I had been 10 minutes quicker.

I thought it might be something like that. I copied and pasted exactly what you had for your description. Oh well, I tried.

Yes, I heard. The butt is still hurt about that. To rectify the situation after all of these years, I am looking hard at ACW to provide something that would fill the gap the Professional would have filled.

Hey, I am a great dad, and I have raised my kids to think for themselves. And while she is thinking about it...

If anyone sees a Combat Operator .45 available, please message me. Mods, I am not trying to set up a sale here, but if someone could point me to a listing on the internet, I would greatly appreciate it.

Why are there no bids yet? I know it's 8 days until the auction end, but put in the minimum bid, key fingers crossed really hard, and BAM! a Combat Operator owned for $600.

Hope someone here won it , at under 1100.00 its a steal ..

Someone got one heck of the pistol for 975.00 + 40.00 for shipping
A SACS Assembled 9mm . From the pictures the barrel hood looks to
have very little wear . The gray finish looks the same .

A whole mixed bag of magazines , Wilson's , Mc Cormick , Mec gar , Metalform ,
Stock Springfield from my champion . The pistol feeds like a champ , If you
want it to do it , it does it . No issues . I mostly run 124gr Sellier & Bellot /
Fiocchi 124gr / PMC 124gr .
