I would place another vote for Milt Sparks 55BN. They make great belts also.

Then again depending on the Alessi I suggest a holster that matches as I have with a GWH for inside waist band and an ACP for outside waistband with nearly the same carry and presentation.

This is kind of my thinking as well, love the looks of the Tucker and will probably just spend more and buy it. Thinking of getting one of tucker belts too!

Thanks for the Kramer suggestion as well, those also look like an appealing option!

Appreciate everyone's input!

[QUOTE=eugevita;13121862]Greetings!

Looking to pick up my first leather OWB holster to occasionally carry my Les Baer custom carry 1911 OWB when I am not carrying my glock 43 concealed and want to show off the beautiful Les Baer.

Can anyone reccomend some good leather holsters that would work well for this pistol? Ideally under $100 if possible? I have an original lou alessi IWB holster that came with the gun when I purchased it from a friend but would also like a good leather OWB.

Recommendations for a proper leather gunbelt would also be appreciated!

Thank you![/QUOT

It doesn't seem to make sense to have a Baer and get some cheap a** holster to show it off. Want to show it off but don't care about wear on the pistol check out a good Yaqui slide.

Belt: Milt Sparks, Custom D leather out of Alaska or maybe Simply Rugged + many others on this board.

I agree with Ricky T, the Wilson Lo-Profile is my favorite OWB.

This is their compact version:

I've been very happy with my Black Elephant versions of these exact holsters (Black Elephant obviously comes at a significantly higher cost). These became "the end" of my holster searching. Matching belts also from Wilson. If you're interested and patient, there's usually been a 15%-off (roughly) sale a couple times each year.

Of course, other suggestions in this thread are also top tier holsters.

You have a lot of really good holster makers to choose from...I'd go with one that's a Forum member or sponsor.

I've used Lanny many times. Very nice and priced right!

Have you looked at the thousands of examples in the OWB pic topic? There is lots more info there than anything that may appear here.
