New to dan wesson

Well it took forever but I’m finally on the DW train, got a PM9 and a Specialist in 9mm, everything I’ve heard bout these guns is true, they are tight as hell and the triggers are amazing, they compare very well with my Les Baer for much less $. I look forward to a growing collection

The PM9 serial number starts with N and ends in CZ, the Specialist is all numbers, would the PM9 be an earlier gun?

Welcome and enjoy the DW ride. I'm pausing on new DW acquisitions this year while the company refreshes their lineup. Things look to get interesting again in 2020, especially since I also like CZ 75s.

For me, the best mags for my 1911s, CZs and Sigs are the Mec-Gar mags sold by Greg Cote LLC and they are reasonably priced.

I like being able to buy springs, followers and base pads for our WC mags as needed. Iíve had great results with Wilson magazines.

Congrats on your new purchases! Just curious... is your Specialist a custom order? It has the old style slide, but the frame is the same as on the 2020 model. Nice looking gun.

Asierra,

FYI, my pm 9 was purchased new in 1911, SN N 000xxxCZ. Gun has been perfect in all respects.

Enjoy - you should have a great pistol.

Congrats!!

In order to see that difference between my Dan Wesson and my four Wilson Combats even though there is a difference you have to look closely to find it and it's not the tightness it's the fit where you will find the diffrence.
