Stainless 1911

What is the absolute cheapest 1911 that I can get in stainless? I love my Taurus, I just wish I would have waited a little longer and gotten the stainless instead. Now I'd like to get a cheap stainless and slowly work in some aftermarket parts for it. But as far as I know, the Taurus is the only cheap stainless and I've seen them for $600. What else should I be looking for?

The RIA branded pistols were never offered in stainless but the Armscor branded pistols were. You would need to look for an Armscor pistol in stainless.
These are the only three models that I am aware of!!

Armscor Target!!!

Armscor Enhanced!!

Armscor Compact!!

I was going to say, I'd never seen or heard of a RIA in stainless. The hard chrome I've heard of though. So what's the price look like on the Armscor Target and Enhanced?

just as an update RIA recently started producing 1911's in stainless, theres actually a post on here somewhere, i think under the 0ther 1911 brands thread, since they are pretty new they may be hard to find so armscor may be the better choice anyways, but just thot id throw in my 2 cents

HeliPilot, the matte nickel finish is a factory finish and it is one good looking pistol!!! No stainless RIA's as yet!!!
