RO compact barrel

The barrel in my RO Compact 9mm was fit such that the lugs weren’t cut properly and the slide over hangs the frame at the rear by perhaps 1/4 inch. I attempted to resolve this using my leg cutter but, unfortunately, the cutter wasn’t properly engaged in the slide stop hole and the lugs were cut unevenly.

I would like to replace the barrel and it appears Bar-Sto offers a replacement (though it’s actually listed for the Kimber). Does anyone have any experience with the Bar-Sto barrel (4” Bull Barrel) or know if any alternative?

Thanks in advance.

Send it to Springfield and have them do a barrel, bushing and link, it’ll cost you $400 but it’ll be accurate and have a warranty.

Thanks!! I noticed the Custom Shop menu has been reduced and wasn’t certain if they were still doing much work!

They would have fixed it for free prior to your fix.
