Believe it or not she is/was being charged with perjury. That was a while back, so I’m not sure the final disposition. Colorado has already had a few questionable, go figure, red flag attempts.

This women is suffering from mental illness, she's deluded herself into believing that everyone but her son was responsible for what happened including the judge who has to put up with her in court.

Kinda unrelated but she bears an uncanny resemblance to HRC

But, he was a good boy...

He was just starting to turn his life around when the police just had to shoot him.

I hope she goes down for knowingly providing false information on court documents.

There are a lot of gun owners who wouldn't be opposed to red flag laws if only they allowed for due process. Unfortunately all these new laws are basically "take their lawful property away now and ask questions later", which should never be allowed to stand up in court. Unfortunately with so many leftist judges out there and a spineless Supreme Court nobody has managed to successfully shoot down these laws yet.

Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

Due process and punishment for wrongful abuse of the law.

If the gun owner recipient of the Red Flag order wasn't a cop doing his job, this woman would never face a charge. If this was a run-of-the-mill Joe Blow, gun owner, he would lose his guns and it would cost him $tons of money to get his rights restored.

Red Flag Laws? What could go wrong?
