Shot I 357 did first time.

With my new P229 with 357sig barrel, I definitely liked the 357. It wasn't as loud as expected and the recoil seemed less than the 40SW optional barrel. Ammo price is expensive but Ó if an option to be able to get 357sig ammo at times like these.

Now find a 40sw barrel to drop in your P229 and cover more bases for ammo choices , beside a 135gr 40 at 1400fps no slouch ether . I prefer a 155gr 1300fps + load

They are fun aren't they. And depending on what you load them with you can get serious flame to go with that attention getting bang.

Lol I was watching Mandilorian at the time I posted. This phone auto corrects, and if I try to change it back to what I originally put. It'll throw some words around.

Capital Cartridge I believe has a special on 357Sig cases for sale if you reload. I've run a lot of 135 gr plated and jacketed though my G23 with the 357Sig barrel and the more I shoot it the more I like it.

I'm not equipped to reload 357sig yet, hopefully soon.

Been shooting it for 20 years. It’s my primary caliber. Go to gunbot.net and sort by price per round then factor in shipping and tax to find the best deal.

I haven’t had to buy any ammo since 2008. I got tired of buying ammo and was able to switch my department over to 357sig. So the city supplies my habit

How in the world did you do that?
You guys must not have a budget..
Most departments want the $200 Glocks and the super cheap 9mm ammo.
You have refitted your department with (insert maker)?
And are now paying for expensive ammo too? Holy crap!
