Okay Any Texans Believing in the US Constitution...

...the liberals are making their move. TDLR - liberals threatening Texas politicians who believe in the 2A with a liberal coup as happened in Virginia.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...blitz-in-texas

It would appear enough Californian and New York liberals have successfully transplanted to our Great State to attempt their coup. Article says they will target suburban housewives. Has no one explained to these “intelligent” elites yet that suburban women in Texas carry just like everyone else?

"A new poll showed 79% of Texas voters supported expanded background checks" - hogwash! More lying numbers from the Dems and Everytown. It looks like the only folks they polled were Demo-rats.

Well, possibly, but if I had a scale that weighed conservatives on one side and liberals on the other, I would think they’d (anti 2As) tip that scale significantly in the liberal direction.

Not sure what the argument is as I don’t read every thread here, but I’ll concede a few liberals may own guns. Just as I’ll concede some conservatives may believe in “assault” weapon bans. No one will convince me, however, that these organizations are not filled with 95% or greater liberals who vote straight Democratic Party.

They are totalitarians. Communist, socialists, whatever. But they aren't liberals anymore. They are way worse.

I’d suggest that many believe as much in the Republic of Texas. That’s a double whammy to those immigrants.

Republic of Texas first.

Then comes the USA.

Let's keep our priorities straight.

I've said, for a long time, the wall needs to be built between California and the rest of us.

They screwed up their state...why do they want to screw up another one?

Take a look at recent events in Virginia. That's what Texas could turn into, maybe even bigger. Slums like Dallas, Houston and Austin are leftist echo chambers and provide a false image of the state.

That's precisely the problem. A handful of large, populous cities all marching to the Leftist drum may present a false image of the state...

...but in VA, they elected the legitimate governance for the state for the next 4 - 6 years.

We cannot allow this to continue. It has to be checked before it gets to ballot.

Perhaps what's needed is Electoral College at a per-state level.

Leftist is the new L word.

It is not really new but fits much better. Leftist are no longer the classic liberals of past days and there is absolutely nothing liberal about them. They are indeed totalitarian control freaks whose lust for power and control is only equaled by their hatred of anyone who opposes them.

Redistricting is the only way out without busting up the state. The DNC would never allow a state level electoral college. They're trying to kill off the national one as we speak.

Well they did some studies in the communist Universities. They had found that those leftist people who migrated to Texas from California, Illinois and New York turned into conservatives after they discovered how good they had it in Texas in comparison to where they left. It took them about a year though. Many became rather fanatical conservatives too,

I think maybe they found that 79% of Texas voters in a Starbucks in downtown Austin approved of universal background checks, and decided to quit counting after that.

Seriously, my brother-in-law who lives in the Austin area says that it has been taken over by refugees from California.

While there are no reliable statistics available, my take is that those who voluntarily chose to make Texas their home are as conservative as their native Texan neighbors. Call me crazy, but let's take a look at the primary results. I think we'll see Trump with an enormous number of voters, beyond what is normal in even an election year. And he has no credible challenger. That speaks more to the state of mind of Texans than the fake polls circulated by that little, would-be dictator from New York.

At some point in the not so distant future,
Texas will have a moderate to liberal Hispanic
majority backed by out-of-state migrants from
the northern more liberal U.S. regions.

Texas as you know it is on a time clock for
radical political change which you won't like.

It's surprising how some people from out of state have such incredible insight as to what's going on in Texas.
