Here's one I sort of miss selling; but it was anything but the Compact they said it was!

...and so very practical.

I've only got my Legion 226 SAO left but I do enjoy it quite a bit. Ultimately my back decided it's too heavy to be a carry gun, but it does a fine job on the nightstand and every time I take it to the range I reaffirm my appreciation for it.

Though, my wife does like my EDC X9 better, so I've been idly thinking on replacing it with a 5" EDC X9 one of these days so the bedroom option fits her a bit better, though my carry X9 is available if I'm home so I'll probably just keep it.

SIGs and 1911s, I love 'em. Re: the SIGs I'm at five P220 SAS, P226, P229, P365 and P320 x-compact. I have others but the one I can kick myself for selling was a W. German P228 (matching SNs).

I'm 1911/EDCX9 centric now but carried a P226 for almost 17yrs, shot thousands of rounds per week through them, lots of sand/water and abuse! Never had a malfunction despite min cleaning (did have a few slides crack due to round count and some mag spring failures) loved the grip angle, it will always have a special place in my heart!

I have four Sigs. German P226, P228, SP2022 and a P320 9mm Carry. We'll see if the P320 is as good as the other three in about 10 to 15 years.

Just picked up a P232 for my wife (for her birthday, it's her dream gun) and a 1911 Ultra. Haven't made it to the range yet but hope to remedy that tomorrow.

Years ago I owned a W. German-produced P220. Sold it but don't have any regrets. I recently purchased a Sig P250 9mm compact pistol because I liked the DAO trigger. I haven't had a chance to shoot the pistol yet since all the ranges are closed. But that may change soon in the DFW area.

My SIG collection has grown and shrunk many times over the years, but here is my current inventory:

P226 German
P226 Combat
P226 357SIG
P232
P365
P320 RXP XFull Size
P320 Compact
M17 Surplus

And since we all like pictures, here is a recent photo of two of them

I've acquired a desire to own a few Sigs lately. I have bought a M17 and a M18. I also decided to put a new Sig P320 with the red dot optic on layaway yesterday and maybe go ahead and complete the purchase tomorrow. I'm a hardcore .45 guy, but maybe it's time I finally try to enjoy the 9 life?

p229 ST - you won't find any of these without some difficulty
p228
p226 MK25 desert
p239 DAO
p320 Subcompact on a chopped compact grip module

Well, here’s my take on Sig. they tend to be very clunky pistols that just work and are usually quite accurate. I have a few, my STX 1911 comes out of their custom shop and works quite nicely. I carry a p938 because it just works and is quite Accurate, particularly for a 3” gun. My p320rx is the first Sig I bought, damn accurate but leaves me “meh” ,,plastic gun ya know.

When my son Asked me for recommendations when all this c-19 business started I reminded him that he lives just down the road from Sig so go talk to the. Pro Shop guy’s (it’s like a Disneyland for gun guy’s, good people there ) where they followed up on my recommendation for a m17, they spent over an hour with him, showing many piece’s to him and helping to make sure he got the right piece for him. Speaks volumes to the kind of people they have there, highly recommended !

I bought my first SIG, a 226, back in the '80s when our Dept. started allowing it as a primary weapon. Owned a succession of various models afterwards, a .380, a .40, couple .357s, but only 9s now. Sure wish I'd hung on to more of them along the way, but mistakenly figured the German and Swiss guns would always be easily replaceable.

I admit I'm behind the times; I haven't owned any of the polymer, 1911 or mini 1911ish versions
