Years ago, I managed a large wine/liquor store - Halloweens were always a little nervous for us. We'd post a "no masks" sign on the door, but there were always some idiots who didn't read or just didn't care. Usually they'd remove it after we said something, but sometimes they didn't want to and things would get a bit confrontational until they had a second to think about why we were upset and take off the mask - or leave. Nothing ever happened, but there were a few times when we weren't sure what was going to happen.

So I can see in current times how employees at banks, liquor stores, quick-marts and so on might not have a sense of humor about it.

Heard from a friend who works at a popular bank.
He said that one day toward the very beginning of the whole Corona disaster, two customers walked in with masks. Everybody in the bank was naturally freaking out, nobody was ready to die.
But they all calmed down quickly when the gentlemen pulled out guns and announced just a routine robbery.
Whew, dodged a big one there!

My gorgeous neighbor has plenty of TP.
I met her on the stairs the other day and asked her if she could spare some. She refused. I even offered to pay per sheet. She's just a selfish hoarder!
