I only own one Kimber, a Super Carry Ultra. It is one of my favorite pistols and my main carry gun. The only way I would like it better is if I could have it with a 4 or 4.25 inch barrel combined with the Officer frame. THAT would be my favorite pistol. But I really like the Ultra, and it has been 100% reliable over the course of several hundred rounds. It's a sweetheart!

Pro CDP and Ultra both 45 and are not range guns . Both are aluminum, stay current with them and practice with heaver 1911.

Thanks. Not sure of the date of mfgr. I blurred out the last two numbers on the s/n in the pic. It's hard to tell so it looks like a real short s/n but it's not. It shoots like a Cadillac. Probably my best shooting 1911.

Yep, I've heard about those. Never have seen one in the "flesh" yet though, and they don't make them anymore to my knowledge. (At least, they aren't shown on the current website.)

I'd love to get my hands on one. I'm sure it would be my favorite as well.

My first Kimber, a Custom TLE II. It has a steel m/s housing with a hole for a lanyard ??
Just finished taking it apart, cleaning and then lubing it up. Will get to go do some blasting tomorrow.

I carried my Super Carry Pro for quite some time, but kept breaking the ambi safety off. Now I carry the Super carry Ultra.

I think the TLE II line of Kimbers is the best value for an all around 1911. Night sights, front strap checkering, great deal.

Any without that silly firing pin safety that works off the grip safety. The Warrior is the only current Kimber that comes to mind.

The only Kimber I own, a base model stainless LW in .45 ACP. I like it as well as any of my other 1911s and better than some. Around 450 rounds so far without a single malfunction.

I wish Kimber would offer the base model Custom in its original form without the FPS. If this model were returned to their lineup there's no doubt in my mind they'd sell tons of them.

I like my 10mm Target II better than my wife's Ultra Carry and she likes hers better than my 10mm!

My favorite Kimber is the very last gun they make before shutting down production and going out of business.

Not sure what you are saying. It seems like maybe you don't care for Kimber.
