For JC75 and any future individuals who may come across this thread for information, here's what I'm using with good results.

9mm Commander

45acp Commander

I suppose if I had my rather, the rear would have the slot. However, I checked my log, the guide rod in the picture is from my 45acp Hackathorn Special Commander at 835 rds. of use. Seems to be working fine. Note the bevel relief.

Seems to me Wilson Combat appeared to be reluctant to offer the Commander size pistol, favoring their Bull Barrel Pro model. Which is a very nice pistol in it's own right. So Wilson has not offered a large variety of accessories for the Commander only model. FWIW.

Thank you. I think I'm finally wrapping my head around all this and will try the NHC part.

No problem. I'm just a gun bunny from the old days on a SWAT team. I just shoot em, break em, get em fixed and start over. I talk with those in the know and follow their advice.
