Sorry for the delay. very busy at the office and I'm in the final stages of a complete renovation of a condo I bought 2 months ago.

The gun is amazingly comfortable, all the edges around the grip and magwell are quite softened (think extreme de-horn) and there's not a rough spot to be found anywhere.

I also find with the integrated magwell I get just enough purchase through the pinky finger that the gun feels 100% secure and comfortable. The limited checkering isn't an issue, I find plenty of grip on the gun and no slippage. They nailed this in every way.

That looks real comfy. I just asked a local dealer (45 miles away) if they would bring one in to check out. I haven't heard back and not sure if they would do that for a tentative sale, but I am hopeful.

Does anyone know if this model has the same thin treatment done to the grip area of the frame as the T4? I see it mentions thinner grips but is the frame thinner than a standard officer frame?

I remember reading something about that I believe. That this was the "thinnest" 1911 that they have made yet alluding to both the grips and the frame.

I just checked nighthawk’s website, width for the T4 and carry plus is 1.32”, the counselor says 1.10”. Most likely has the same treatment done to the frame paired with the more thin grips. Definitely an intriguing model. Love the integrated mag well that maintains the officer length.
