A Pro Raptor was my first new Kimber. Had some issues with it. This was where I perfected my break in technique.

My favorite has to be my Gold Combat, recently returned by a soon to be ex Son in Law. I gave both Sons in Law nice 1911's telling them every man should own a fine 1911. Gave them the Gold Combat and Grand Raptor. When he asked for a divorce, the oldest demanded it back. Its resting nicely in the safe once again.

My favorite Kimber is still my Compact Custom, which has been my preferred EDC since 2012. Not many parts are stock, but only because of preference, optimizing, and personal fun/learning.

My favorite was my Super Carry Pro, which resides with my sister now as her EDC. It was .45, and shot extremely well.

Picked up this one yesterday. First venture back into Kimber since my old Series 1 Custom. I really like this little 9mm, going to have order a few more magazines, a Milt Sparks SSII, and a Warbird OWB for it soon. The original grips are nice, but I like the ones on it for carry.

Have a pair of Stainless Target IIs in .38 Super and 10mm. They have everything I need and nothing that I don't. Would prefer if they didn't have the FPS but I can live with it.

I've owned the .38 Super since 2002. If I had known that Kimber cut the breech face the same on both models I would have just bought a 10mm barrel for the Super. The way it turned out I bought several different barrels and slides to be able to shoot most calibers from .22 LR to .45 Super and all the parts will interchange between the two frames...

I just bought a new Kimber so it is my favorite. It is a Stainless LW looks just like a Stainless ll but has an alloy frame. I have seen several new models similar to mine on auction sites lately. An Artic LW that is satin silver slide and frame with black small parts and a Nightstar LW that has a black slide and frame with stainless small parts. All are 5 inch barrels with light weight frames and no FPS. Prices are $629--$649 range which I thought was pretty good.

My favorite Kimber was my Raptor II. Somehow, my youngest son talked me out of it. I still have an Elclipse and an Ultra Carry, but somehow, they don't "shine" like the Raptor.

I've only owned one Kimber. I had always had Government or Commander sized 1911's. This Ultra CDP II was the first Officer size I ever tried. I'm not as good a shot with it as a longer barreled one, but thousands of rounds over 15 years made this a favorite carry. POA/POI is 25 yards, Crimson Trace is dead on at 20 feet. It's a great gun as long as you keep it clean, lubed, and replace those worn parts when needed.

Owned a Custom II Two Tone that I sold and bought a Stainless Pro Raptor II. Love that gun! Outside I carry in a Simply Rugged Chesty Puller rig or in their Cuda on my hip.
