Gotcha!

Aside from the plethora of taps and dies, thereís also a host of thread adaptors available, which could alleviate the need to machine a new part.

When I was going through the process of suppressing my levergun, I was able to locate an adaptor. The id of the adaptor was 1/2Ēx28 to thread onto the barrel and an od of 5/8Ēx24 to accept the .30cal Wilson Whisper muzzle brake.

Current 9mm suppressor for 308 project?

Iím looking to start the process of acquiring my first AR. I have a AR9B SBR and currently have the WC suppressor (its a fun piece of kit). My partner just ordered a WC 308... and so Iím headed that way for my build... can I use my current Whisper suppressor for 308 work? Anybody try this? (7.62 vs 9 mm is it safe to fire a 308 round through my 9mm Suppressor)... thanks!

Absolutely , 100% safe. Will work just fine. Just buy the appropriate Rapid Thread adaptor for your barrel threads.

I have a Whisper in .458; have run 458 Socom to 22 LR through it.
Not Hollywood quiet but it takes the bite out of the blast

Congrats Otto! I know it is a long wait, but you are going to have some fun when you get that combo to the range! Enjoy.

Congrats! It's got some first round pop but otherwise I love mine. It's built like a tank and looks great snugged up against the rail.
