Ironically it was Senate Majority leader Harry Reid that got the funding for a huge range near Las Vegas....last one to my knowledge the feds funded. (60 million dollar Clark county range, 2009).

Excellent. Anything that promotes 2A and marksmanship is a great thing.
The fact that it should make liberal commies freak out is a definite bonus..
Thanks POTUS...

What? Don't you enjoy hearing the lefties cry and lament?

I certainly do... I'll never forget how wonderful that night was November 8 2016 when they were announcing that Trump had the lead in the electoral college. One of the best days I have ever enjoyed in a decade.

I love when the left cries, whine and complains. Makes me very happy and they will be doing a lot more in 2020

Sounds great, on the surface, but anything 2A-related that gets any Dem support these days has to have strings attached...

This State $$ should be a pass-through to businesses within the State via application. State ran gun ranges I don't like, let the private sector do what they do best.

While this is certainly good news, on its face, there should be a mechanism for private ranges to apply for grants - certainly the non-profit ones at least. I like the idea of more money going to ranges, but let's face it, if it has to filter through the states first, there are ohhhh so many glorious opportunities for pilfering, misappropriation, misallocation, or just plain subsidizing of some random politician's clothing allowance!!!!!

I think in AZ all that allocation goes to the AZ general fund, and then some of it filters out to the parks. I need to do some asking as to where all that Fed allocation goes in AZ.

The money would be better spent on fighting the hordes of illegals coming in lest the entire country become a shooting range.

The Fed has been stealing $$ from shooting sports for ages. Ever wonder why govt "does nothing" on gun control? It's all about the $$. Hamper gun and ammo sales and they will damage national and state parks. O the web of BS they call DC.

Why can’t we be happy that Trump has done this? There are certainly a LOT of things to be wary toward the left of, but I’m taking this as a positive!!

There's doing a good thing, and then there's doing a good thing right. The Fed has a hard time doing both, and rarely can do the latter.

My life motto, if you are gonna do it, do it right the 1st time. Trump is doing lots of good, but the Fed is just F 'd up everywhere. Look, they can't even control the border properly. Trump is doing good at the border, but its not right currently. All those illegals should be kicked back into MX. Very simple.

The border is a problem which has existed for many decades and president's (and congress) on both sides of the isle did little...Enter Trump the great truth teller and change agent and then juxtapose his actions/intention's against the track-record of the many professional politician's of the past (insert your favorite president of the past too) and the contrast is even more amazing...This not only applies to the border, but also fair-trade, the attack by the left on Christianity, the fake news, and so many other issues. Still, POTUS is not a dictator and can only do so much without breaking the law. And unfortunately, his party - the GOP is very weak and self-serving. There are a few exception's to this in the GOP but not many really % wise. Most of them are scared the "Morning Joe's" and the others in the fake news will single them out. Some have conflict of interest and benefit from open border's and bad trade policies, etc...It is quite amazing POTUS has done as much as he has in ~2.5 year's, especially given all the evil-forces lined up against him in the opposite party, the deep-state, the fake-new's, Lefty-Judge's, and even the GOP (Cheeze, just think of Ryan when he was speaker of the House).

All the above in the SWAMP have been working for a long-time to benefit their own interest's at the expense of selling out the American people; POTUS is working to put American's first.

Who would have thought? Not even Nostradamus :-) could have predicted that a Real-Estate developer from NYC would have been chosen to be the Champion of the American way of life. Pray for his safety and for God to continue to give him the wisdom to guide our country. There will not be another like him for a very long time.

Well, in the context of 2016 Nov election, voters were tired of the same BS over and over, and very tired of Obama/Clinton era. Trump was simply different. Not sure I will go as far to say Trump is the champion of the American way of life, but his work as potus has been moving America in the correct direction, and he'll continue after Nov 2020.

The issue I have is, every 4yrs we get idiots on the ballot. Its frustrating that this is the best we have to offer. In other words, just look at the pool of demcrap folks running for potus, scratch your head, really? They cannot win with that pool of crap, but somehow voters voted those idiots into office.

I see run for potus like a quality Superbowl (which I have not watched for many years now). It has to be two great teams who play a very good game, who are smart on how to win, with refs who correctly balance out the fouls, otherwise its not worth watching. Surely our govt needs to be balanced, but how can it be, look at the people who are in office (like Omar and Tlaib and AOC) !!

I must disagree with this analogy. In the Superbowl, I want my team, especially if they are MY TEAM and I've rooted for them all season and probably for many years, to slaughter the opponent. I want a landslide victory and every lucky break to go our way. Same in politics. I don't want the opposition (Democrats) to run a good race. I want my candidate to win in a landslide, showing me that most voters still embrace our American ideals.
