I have DW's, Wilson's and a NH. The DW's are the best gun for the buck, but ARE NOT of the quality of Wilson or Nighthawk.

DW Guardian in 9mm

DW CCO in .45ACP

Hardchromed NH Predator II w/bobtail

Wilson CQB

Wilson ULCc

I have 2 DWs (Vbob and Guardian) and a Nighthawk Talon, I couldn't have said it any better than glock2740. DW is an excellent value, especially the Valor line which more than holds it's own with any manufacturer in terms of accuracy. But that said, I know I'm not going to win any friends here in the DW forum by saying this, they are NOT in the same league as Wilson or Nighthawk. But that doesn't bother most because WC and NHC cost nearly twice as much and in some cases eg. WC Supergrade, much more than that. Whether they are worth it depends on the individual. If you want to add to your collection I'd say you wouldn't go wrong buying a Valor.

Apples and oranges. I love my DW's and my Nighthawks. The Nighthawks are in another class. By the same token I carry a Severns Dan Wesson.

These threads come up ofter all across the boards. Some people seem to feel a need to justify their expensive guns by declaring them "miles above" the rest. I HAVE owned a Wilson CQB, a Nighthawk bobtail Talon, a Baer TRP commanche, and a Brown Special Forces. I DO own a black Vbob. I'm sure there are differances an expert could tell us about, and all were fine guns. But for ME, There is not a large drop off between any of them, and I would put the DW against any out there in real life, EDC situations. YMMV.

I own a Valor,CBOB and a Nighthawk GRP. I bought the DW'S because I got a great deal on them. About $500 below retail cost. But for the retail price of a new Valor you are now in Les Baer territory. That is my next purchase. I love my DW'S but for accuracy the Nighthawk GRP is hands down more accurate than the DW"S. The Nighthawk I purchased slightly used from a friend. Retails for $2600. I payed half of that so it was a no brainer.
