I got my Colt Commander back from Don after a 9 month wait-and it was worth it.

++1 - to the above, Machining down the exterior flare of the mag well, & maybe a pinky-rest baseplate for your magazines - might really work out nice. Worth a try - as you may loose a lot selling a custom - even a wonderful one like this.

* When I have installed mag wells on 1911's, they have all been flush to the profile of the grip = Smith & Alexanders, for obvious reasons. probably not available for HPs.
