The Fusion Freedom Series 1911 pistols are built in more production batch processing and still use a Bar-stock, Frame, Slide and barrel. You can see complete information on the website on each of the new models>>> https://www.fusionfirearms.com/pistols/freedom-series

You will also find the models are configurable on our website so you can add options such as night sights, carry cut mainspring housings, Mag-wells....ect... before it ship from the Fusion Shop.

Bob, maybe I missed it but how are these finished? Is that a bead blast blue?
Also, does Fusion carry gold bead front sights?
Thanks

Matte black oxide for the standard finish, Gold dots are special order but yes we can install them for you before shipment. Just call in for the gold dot, the Gold dot is not part of the configurable products yet. .... good question,,,, thanks.

I like the checkering option, I have a combat model with no checkering and love it. It is a great shooter. Saving up for another one, next one I want the checkered front strap.

Seems to have ended. I was looking yesterday and see the checkering is now $95. Guess I waited too long.

Those will be made by July. If you want to pre-order to make sure you get one you can call in.

Thank you fro the information. I want to get one of those and then fit one of your 40 S&W Fusion match barrels to is so I can shoot both 10mm and 40. I have installed several of your new UMG 1911 match barrels in some pistols, 1- Remington R1, 2-Colts and a Springfield and they all locked up like a rock and accuracy was excellent. Thanks for the many fine products.

Happy to help. Glad to hear about the barrels as well. They seem to be becoming more well known and we have heard great range reports from everyone so far. Keep an eye out for a post in a few weeks announcing the 10mm LS.

I really like the checkering option. My Fusion Combat commander model is a smooth front strap, great for carry and I added some g-10 grips. But the 10mm I want for Hunting deer and boar so I woudl like some front-strap texture. The Checkering will be great.
