Forbidden email domains

Recently tried to register and was not allowed to use my aol address.

I set up a Comcast address to use for registration and was successful.

Just curious: why no aol, hotmail and one other domain I can't remember??

.....did you happen to see the big announcement that is at the top of every page of the forum? See this link. https://forums.1911forum.com/announcement.php?f=38

Just curious, what name were you trying to register?

I saw the announcement but wondered about the AOLdomain being not allowed.
For some reason I was notified of my post about this at my aol address even though I used Comcast when I registered.????

I would assume it is part of the same problem.

The Fish,
No email addresses are restricted. Do you recall the error message you received when you tried to register with your AOL address?

Also, is it possible you already registered an account with your AOL address? You are allowed only one account per address. Might explain why you are receiving forum mail at both addresses as well.

That is weird as I have a Yahoo address and I have been registered on here for a few years. I have changed service providers at least three times since then.
