Colt Gold Cup National Match

Picked up a new GCNM 9mm. Its one of those guns I've always wanted and never got around to, always got something else. I've had a 9mm Range Officer and a Loaded Target Springfield, I always thought they should have grouped better than they did. I have hopes this Colt will do just a tad better than the Springfields.

I was not disappointed with the performance of the new GCNM. Out of the box the sights were off for me shooting about an inch to the right at 10 yards, elevation was spot on, grouping was good and better than I expected. I shot several 10 shot groups at 10 yards with 9 rounds going through one ragged hole and the other almost touching. There is almost always one in every crowd. Pictured is the last target getting 10 out 10. I think that was a first for me and open sights and at 77 years young I'll take it!

Shooting was rested off top of range bag, ammo Blazer 115gr.

Good Shooting... Congrats on picking up your Gold Cup. I just added the same one last year to join my other 9s A BHP and DWPM9. The Colts a nice looker and a great shooter. I better get back to the range after looking at your score. Enjoy!!...
