Anything with a FLGR is fluff, if JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.
If you are going to collect, don't be 'drawn' to an example that is not original, nor correct. Instant gratification is more expensive than a good education.

The 1918 is a nice looking pistol but I'm scratching my head on the hammer. I may be wrong but the side view has it looking a little "thick" for a late 1911 model. At any rate......pull the trigger!! Make the deal happen.

well... I got it... I would like to start a new thread for it, but i'm not sure if that's kosher or not. I guess i'll do it, and if it's not, i'm sure dsk can move the pics here.
