I became a US citizen yesterday....

... and of course I was carrying a full-size 1911 under my jacket.

I'm not seeking attention posting about my new status per se but I figured you'd appreciate the symbolism

Congratulations! I was thrilled when I attended my daughter-in-law's citizenship ceremony this past January. However, I needed to disarm first since it was held in the Federal Courthouse and we had to go through metal detectors.
