Question 15 LPI 90 Degree Checking - Hand Shredder?

Guncrafter's standard checking is their special 15 LPI pattern. Just going by the 15 LPI, I would guess it would be pretty hard on your hands after a range day. But most checkering patterns are not done at 90 degrees.

What would you folks say about the coarseness of their 15 LPI?
