Russian collusion Colt

by Evolution Armory

This was a nib 2014 model I bought that year & put away.
Sent it to Dave & Mark last July and it came home looking
like this. I could not be any happier with what Dave turned
it into. Just awesome work, I wouldn't change a thing with it.
The great communication with both of them during the time
period seemed to make the wait go by fast. Shot 200 trouble
free rounds after I got it back. Staying home as much as possible
now but when things improve I plan to have a shooting buddy
with much better vision shoot it to see what it is capable of.
I mite of left off some of the work done & please excuse some
of the pic's, I wiped the gun down but should of brushed it off
also.

weld up & re cut
straighten & clean up the factory lines
carry bevel
blend rear of slide & frame
flat top slide with serrations
lower ejection port
FBI slide stop mod
bevel mag well
high cut front strap with 25 lpi checkering
fit Kart match barrel & a match bushing
flush cut & crown barrel
Harrison TR ignition set
Harrison grip safety
WC thumb safety
Chen msh
Gridier trigger
sights are BEC & Yost
finish is Glenrock Blue
grips are Russian Tur sheep horn by MD Grips

I thought this was going to be a thread about a 7.62x25 conversion. That's a very nice gun though.

Do a google search of Russian Tur sheep and
you will see what the grips were made of (the horns).
It was a little attempt at humor with all the fake news
the last 3+ years.
