Swift Response Pistol

I have and love a Premier II, but I found a nearly new stainless steel SRP on consignment at my local gun shop. $2675 out the door. One problem: a hard-to-miss Idiot Scratch on the frame. If I make an offer this SRP, what's a fair price?

It's probably chromed.

No way to fix that scratch without refinishing it.

To me it would be a deal breaker, and it does hurt the value. Chrome looks crappy scratched up.

On consignment , probably Negotiable , make an offer if the scratch is small and does not bother you too much. If it is at where the slide stop snaps back in it's not by It self . Half the 1911's in US have a scratch there, Does the rest of the hard chrome finish look good ?

Price is high for a used gun, have seen new for not much more.

Also consider above, if it's hard chromed and scratched, it's going to be $400+ to refinish it. Personally I wouldn't bother making an offer, because they probably won't take what's reasonable for it. If you must make an offer, I wouldn't go higher than $2,100 probably.

Brand new for same price. Been relisted many times. Make them an offer on this one.
And yes I agree with the above. It's probably Hard Chrome and not stainless.

Why not save just a little bit more, call the company, and have one made just the way you want it? You will have a pistol that will serve you, your son, and your grandson.

I wouldn't bother with used, scratched one for that price. I would go with the brand new one Blanca Busa posted for the same money.
