Post questions

How does one delete a classified post, one that's been locked.
General question, do posts expire with time or do they go on forever, classifieds that is.
Thanks

A member can only edit a post they make within 24 hours of making that post. A member can't really "delete" a post, only edit out all the words & photos (within the 24 hour time limit). This applies to all posts, classifieds and others.

There's usually no real reason to delete a classified thread. If the OP has sold the item (or items), just make a new post in the thread saying item is sold. As time goes on, that thread will rotate off the screen.

In a sense, thread (posts) go on forever unless they are deleted by an Administrator or Moderator. Admins & Mods are pretty watchful to not allow a thread that's been dormant more than about 6 months to be resurrected. If you have a good reason, you can always PM a Mod and ask them to delete your thread.
