Yeah.....I have occasionally bought from them if there was a deal, but that guy is right. I remember them totally gouging the public on AR stuff in particular. A plain Jane stripped lower was $250 for the same one you can get right now at Palmetto for $49. Iím on board with the boycott, they have nothing I need. Always have seemed a little sleazy!

I looked at ammo yesterday and the stuff that runs 15 to 20 dollar is now 35 to45. I saw a 100 rd box of rem 230 gr fmj for 82 dollars I support a total ban and hope they loose there business.

I've seen a lot of that going on at a couple different sites for ammo. If they have any in stock at all the prices are just stupid high

Over the years, CTD has generated a disproportionate -- vastly disproportionate -- number of negative/dissatisfied posts by Forum members.

That's enough for me. And appreciation for those many "heads-up" from Forum members over the years.

Just for the heck of it, Iíll send a message to their customer service and let them know that ďTheĒ prominent gun owners forum has cast them off the island for BS gouging. Curious to see what the response will be.

Before there was such a thing as the internet I received a catalog from CTD. All their prices seemed excessively high to me. Found what I wanted from other gun/reloading catalogs at a better price even with S/H included..

Don't waste your time. They don't care about anything but making a fast buck, fully expecting that some folks have short memories and that there are always new sheep to fleece.

I recently bought some Wilson Combat magazines from them. Best price I found online. But yeah they do raise their prices when stuff starts getting in short supply. I don't think I've ever bought ammo from them though. I have other vendors that I deal with. I really hate that some places price gouge. Should be against the law.

Isn't CTD just a clearing house for sellers like Ebay, and Amazon for example? If so then it is the sellers setting the prices not CTD.

The only thing I've ever bought from them is a couple cases of #2 buck and that's only because I couldn't find it anywhere else.
But Jerry's dirt must be expensive.

I sent them a message.
I told them to Google themselves and read the reviews.
The US of A is about to send them packing.
Maybe McVay can clean their clocks while we are at it!
No reason to charge these prices.

I've never purchased from CTD, but isn't nice that SOMETHING is available for those that really want/need it?

Higher prices when the sheeple are panic buying is a service to the masses! If prices were Zero, it would only take one hoarding person to buy up all the inventory. When prices are "held steady" for a commodity that all of a sudden has a rush of buyers, the shelves will be cleared immediately making it unobtainable to those who may really need it. Higher prices keep the would-be-hoarder in check, perhaps only buying 25 rolls of toilet paper, for instance rather than stocking up with 2500 rolls!

How many here despite being stocked up already wouldn't hesitate to purchase another case of 9mm, for instance if it was still 16 cents per round? I'm sure, MANY! Another example of human nature at work, as ya'll ain't gonna buy it at 40+ cents per round! It sits available for the later entrants into gun ownership or those unprepared. At least they have a chance, too HOARDERS!

Absolutely! Vote with your money. Preferably stocking up when supply is high and prices are low!
