Gun rights advocates spark outrage by hanging effigy of Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear

ARTICLE HERE

In poor taste, me thinks.

Sometimes gun owners are their own worst enemy.
Hanging anybody in effigy is a stupid move.

Well it used to be common practice to let people know how far they had pushed folks?

Not gonna agree or disagree with it because I don’t live in Ky. But it seems people there are about at their wits end.

And it was wrong then too.

Gun owners need all the friends we can get, but we fail to realize that millions of Americans are not "gun people" and know nothing about guns or the second amendment.

Those Americans don't need to see gun owners doing stupid stuff like this.

We must have different ideas about "friends".

There better ways to make ones point. Hanging in effigy doesn't help our cause.

Should have at least had a sign around the dummy's neck stating their grievance.

Here we go again. "THe protestors in Michigan were wrong to bring their guns"

"It's wrong to hang in effigy"

Pfft. Bring the tar and feathers next time. Park the tar bucket in a position the politicians in questions can *smell* it.

The People have every *right* to say those mean, nasty things.

Let me ask you this: What has being polite and acquiescent gotten us so far? Besides wave after wave after wave of gun control? Besides loss of national identity and national standing?

Still want to be polite? All of you who say this is wrong -- when do *you* think it's appropriate to start reminding the petty tyrant of who they work for? Has voting worked? Court cases? Lawsuits? Has any of that worked?

Well? Has it? Small victories here and there do not outweigh huge losses in many places.

It's not just 2A being curtailed, it's all of it. Sounds to me like a ton of you would rather whimper off into the night, and let this country become just like Europe.

We've nowhere to go, if this country ends up like Europe or the UK. We can't pull that stunt off again. We have every right to defend this country, as we know it, from those who seek to make it into something New and Improved like Europe.

Ya know?

I figure one of these days, the following is going to happen and a lot of people are going to find that the quiet man or woman they've been pushing and trying to subjugate don't give in quite so easily.

The Ctrl-Left has been pushing for decades.

Either you believe in the 1st and 2nd Amendments - or you don't. If you don't then you can always move to Europe - they'll take ANYBODY these days.

We can't bend to the lefty...Does the lefty get outraged when madana say "blow up the white house". This metaphorical hanging is obviously not a threat and just a political protest. Madana's comment can most certainly be viewed as a direct threat! And there are scores of other threats the Lefty has made which I don't want to bore you with.

Once your political enemy defines what you can say, you have lost already.

Until I see the same ones on the left who are complaining about this complain about Kathy Griffin holding up a fake bloody Trump head I will not criticize this.

Exactly. And that will never happen. The Democrats know no bounds when it comes to hypocrisy.

LOL, CA, Her name is spelled "Madonna." If I win the Lottery, I'm going to get you a Mac that spell checks everything for you.

I'll wait while someone explains exactly what was gained by hanging the governor's likeness in effigy.

What message was sent that couldn't have been sent in a more respectful manner.

What negative message was sent,???

Did the positives outweigh the negatives???

The positives are the people were exercising two of their fundamental inalienable rights by one bearing arms and two freely expressing themselves.

That is the purpose of freedom, it may be offensive to some but you’re still free to do it.

Well Gentlemen, trust me, when it comes to spelling I am a hopeless cause. Years and years ago, I was pretty good at it, I use to practice my spelling with a course I purchased...But then when Microsoft and the like issued the spelling "bots" it was all over, total "dubbing down" effect.

It is real with some of these technology apps, as another example, there are a lot of people who can't even give directions anymore because of GPS and the driving instructions which goes with it. And get this, that is to their OWN-HOME! LOL.

I'm pretty sure it is part of the Socialist Plot to dumb-down America so we get even (more) reliant on China. Part of that 1-World-Globalist-crap.

You didn't answer the questions.

If the message was to further 2A rights, how did hanging the governor's likeness in effigy promote that right?

Can you think of a more respectful and productive way to promote that right?
