Yeah, felon convicted of multiple domestic issues

https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/...me/3033403001/

Sounds like he spared the baby, so there is at least that small comfort.

There's a special place in Hell waiting for him.

"The crowd of a few hundred was 'volatile,' a Milwaukee police officer said, adding that officers had to break up multiple fights.

Many who gathered did not know those who died but came to see the large police presence and the scene playing out on the lawn of a corner house."

SHOCKER!!

I have to say, while he obviously has a violent past, I've been waiting to hear stories like this with the lockdown. People spend too much time together tend to get on each other's nerves. Hoping I'm wrong, but if the home murder rate starts climbing I will not be surprised.

Judging from the picture I would say that this has nothing to do with any "lock down." People are starting to use this "lock down" nonsense to excuse violent incidents like this that take place all the time, just because there are people that are uncivilized.

Yeah, I’m going with that answer!
Par for the course......the media just happened to be there since Milwaukee’s population is just a little over 1/2 a mil.
Same thing happened in Baltimore, Atlanta and Detroit too. Feel free to add any other cesspools you would like.
Uncivilized is a polite way to put it.......

Take him out and hang him by his dick until he’s deader and then leave him there until the birds have picked his bones clean, total POS, convicted felon child abuser, quit worrying and screaming about the rights of these pos’s and start screaming about victims rights.

I’d be happy to throw the switch on someone like this !

All the pictures really illustrate is the propensity for blacks to gather where police are acting. Those people weren't there when the shooting occurred, they gathered when the police showed up.

Felon in possession of a gun kills 5 people. Fights break out among large unruly crowd.

Online court records show he was convicted in 2002 of misdemeanor battery. He was sentenced to probation, ordered to attend domestic abuse counseling and prohibited from possessing firearms.

He pleaded guilty in 2007 to felony battery, felony bail jumping and felony intimidation of a witness. He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, prohibited from possessing firearms and ordered to complete a batterers' intervention course.

Five years later, in 2012, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery with a domestic abuse modifier, and drew 18 months in prison with another gun ban. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was sentenced to a month in jail with work-release privileges.

The state Department of Workforce Development filed a warrant against him in 2016 seeking $13,304 in unemployment compensation that still hasn't been paid. The online records don't offer any further details. DWD spokesman Ben Jedd said such cases are confidential under state law.

I truly believe that the toll of human misery that is caused by the draconian measures we have taken to combat COVID-19 is eventually going to dwarf the direct medical impacts. Suicides, drug and alcohol related deaths, spousal and child abuse and the myriad of stress related physical maladies are going to spike like we’ve never seen.

Draconian measures? You mean like not being able to crap out a vaccine in a week? Or perhaps make a billion masks in a day? Sounds like you are pointing the finger somewhere.....
As far as people not being able to get ahold of themselves, well, can’t help ya there. Perhaps another pill to help them deal with life?......just shake your foot when you step in dog crap and keep on walkin’!

This Milwaukee resident says this has zero to do with this shooting. The fact is that the black people in this city were illegally redlined into a certain small area, which is now also a food desert, the schools suck, and you can add in a dozen other characteristics of neighborhoods neglected by the City of Milwaukee, which hasn't had a decent government since the last Socialist mayor (sewer socialism, look it up).

This kind of thing unfortunately happens all the time. Sometimes it's domestic violence as in this case, sometimes it's drug related, but mostly it's too many people crammed into too small of a space, people with little hope of bettering their lives, much less the lives of their children.

There are things that can be done to help them, but there's not enough money and I am convinced Milwaukee city government conspires to line their own pockets while screwing the people.

No, he's talking about closing everyone's business and putting everyone under house arrest. That kind of draconian measures.

Yes, we've already lost a few local businesses, closed permanently due to the forced shutdown. I'm guessing we'll lose a few more. Local businesses owned and operated by local people. Gone. For good. As I've said all along, this "cure" is much worse than the disease.

And of course we had to get a gun control argument in the 2nd linked article in this thread.

[sarcasm]Why don't we just make a law that it is illegal to murder people? That ought to do the trick. [/sarcasm]

OR, he's saying that the extended amount of time that we have to remain isolated is a direct result of the country's inept attempt at solving the problem.
Either way you choose to analyze it, its all bad!
