I'm really glad to hear things are on the up swing in GA I hope it continues to go well. I honestly think there have been more people out and about during the past 60 or so days around here than there were before this stuff started. I have never gone to Lowes and had to drive around to find a parking spot. Everything has been more crowded yet in my zip code we have had less than 50 cases and only 6 deaths in our local hospital.

Thanks...sounds like it's going well in your area.

We have several hospitals within 20 mins of here...they report their stats on the daily news. We've had several deaths and many hospitalized for treatment.....however, Lowe's & Home Depot parking lots are just as you described....slam packed.

Those two stores and Walmart have had tremendous business during this timeframe.

Letís hope......letís just hope, that when that generation begins to hatch, they will look at their parents as idiots. Kids always like to rebel against their parents. When they start to get their wits about them, perhaps they will see the damage that the last 2 generations have done.

One of my little pet peeves is those who say they support the 2A. But in the next breath, they recite support for one textbook gun ban scheme after another. Gun registration? Check. AR15 bans? Check. Semi-auto bans (for those who have a clue)? Check. Background checks for anything gun related? Check. Ban internet sales of anything gun related? Check. Vote for Dem candidates? Check (of course). Etc.

Did they ever learn the meaning of hypocrisy? Grrrr.

Almost every problem this country now faces can be solved by simply dusting off the Consitution and FORCING every politician to abide by the strict limitations it places on them. The problem for years has been that they thumb their filthy noses at it - and we let them get away with it. I want to see our Federal prisons FILLED with politicians and crooked lawyers. We also need to stop giving all these politicians Secret Service protection so they will be VERY AFRAID of the people they serve.

Politicians and judges won't save America from the Marxist Left. Only armed citizens with a love of the country and the Constitution, and a willingness to give their lives in defense of the principles this country was founded, can do that. Study the underground movements in Poland and France and Denmark and other European countries during world war 2, and you will see what it will take to the defeat the Fascist Left in America.

The best thing to do is move out to the sticks.

Like I did. There are still boneheads around. But there are a lot fewer of them.

I think that by this point, with so much information out there, we as a nation are divided into two camps:
those who get it
those who don't get it and don't want to.

We all know there are people who will not listen to whatever conflicts with their dogma, political or religious. They are wholly dependent on emotional comfort, which transcends facts, logic, common sense, changing circumstances.

For the sake of my blood pressure, I now don't bother with such people. Arguing is a waste of good oxygen. We all make our choices and the consequences will be what they will be. Let's relax, associate with members of our tribe, smell the roses, live well, keep prepared.

I don't have the patience either, nobody does. My infiltration days are over.

They don't read or listen to your answers, no matter what. They're like the drunk guy who you can tell when talking to him it's going straight in one ear and out the other as he's looking straight through you with a thousand yard stare. They don't care if they're wrong, in their mind it's not possible for them to be wrong because you're racist and ignorant. It's a lost cause guys, just give up.

Once you make debate impossible you make conflict a certainty. That's the plan as far as I can tell.

I am no longer all that sure that the fools have any concept of who is going to protect them.
Especially when the Government itself is the one now threatening them.
"May you live in interesting time" is a Chinese Curse.
In "interesting times" people die.
At least the Chinese have managed to prevent any mass starvation since they have been in power.
But that is truly 'Damning with faint praise.'

This is questionable in the extreme. When chairman Mao reigned supreme. He is credited with the starvation of at least thirty million people, similar to Joe Stalin. However today the communist party of China has a much tighter grip on the media than anyone could possibly have even conceived of even a decade or two ago. There could very well be, and quite likely are millions of malnourished people living in China Today. Most people do not know that only six percent of the land in China is arable land. With their population it is to be expected that a significant portion of their population goes hungry on any given day. Despite what their propaganda outlets report.

True, and one of those boards is run by a person who does not live in the US and is jealous of our Bill of Rights, especially the First Amendment. He, like a lot of others, thinks our rights are given to us by our Constitution. When I tried to point out to him that he was born with the same rights, but his government was allowed by the people to restrict them, he kicked me off the board. I think we make a mistake by using the shorthand of referring to our "1st Amendmend Rights", our "2nd Amendment Rights", etc. We (the human race) are born with all of our rights. A government can only punish us for exercising them. We still have them but we have to pay the price to exercise them when that happens.

We have a few of the left-wingers that seem to own guns on this forum. They love to bad mouth the President and spread their lefty views. I get a great deal of enjoyment out of putting them in their places. But the Moderators shut the threads down as soon as you start in on the libs. I don't know why they don't instead stop the libs when they start their left-wing posting. Instead of us Republicans for correcting them.

Phil, your assertion is just not correct. Our moderators have no problem with honest differences of opinion. We draw the line at personal attacks and insults. As long as the discussion stays on topic and doesn't degenerate into personality issues, the thread is good to keep going.

Dumb people are every where. It isn't just Dumbocrats and leftist. There are people just as dumb on gun forums and in gun organizations. For sure many irepublicans are every bit as dumb as any democrat.

It is much a result of our public "education" system as any thing. The spend 12 years building egos and self assurance of essentially ignorant useless people and the dumber they are the more sure THEY KNOW EVERYTHING.

If you really know even just ONE THING you look like a genius to them. All you have to do is just know when to shut up. Wait until the topic is something you DO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT, shut up the rest of the time. If you have never done something, don't know anything about then just shut up.

I have been paying attention very well. Because I am normally involved in the setting of the left-wingers straight. And then I am being told to be nice to them.

Rod I feel that I am correct. When a left-winger starts with the fake news almost every time they have gone off-topic to do so. By the "rules" the thread should be closed. And I don't recall seeing any of these threads that do not end up with a few insults being said. There are several members of this forum that can not stand by when we see a post that is so wrong.

I am not trying to be argumentative about the matter. But it seems like those wackos get away with more than we Republicans.

I will add though that all of the moderators on the forum that I have read their post have been on the correct side that supports the 2nd amendment. And one or two have even given the libs hell.
