adj. rear sight on 9mm lightweight

Has anyone put the adj. rear sight that ruger sells on their 9mm ruger lightweight did it slide right in? Was there any problem with not being able to zero in without changing the front sight also.

Ruger is a licensed Novak copy sight maker. Their fixed sights are fitted and more than a slip fit. It is reasonable to expect the same of that sight. I used the same adjustable sight from Novak on another pistol. You will probably need to fit the sight since it will probably be more than a slip fit.

FWIW, those are nice sights.

Thank you for that info. Maybe I should call Ruger and see what they have to say about it.

Now that I think about it, though not their 1911, I did buy one of their competition rear sights for a Mk II 22/45 and i needed to fit it.
