I have been reading a lot of dystopian novels and they got me to thinking. I promised myself that I would never run short again after the 2012 to 2014 ammo shortage. I have plenty and the ability to make much more. Made a "bug out" bag and got an over 100 gallon water filter. I didn't tell anyone about my preps, but I did prepare. Glad I did.

Hmmm "weird jerk? Well I am glad I have the stuff I need to get me and the wife through. And friends to help here also. So call me what you will, but I would rather be a bit ok here than living in fear worrying about where my next meal is coming from or will I have toilet paper tomorrow? Meant to say NOT buying.
I feel sorry for the septic system and the one that is going to have to go shovel it out when there is no one left to do it for you. I haven’t needed TP for 10 years because I changed what I eat. Somehow it just comes out clean. Of course I always make sure with 1 wet wipe. Toilet paper always burned my ass and created more of a mess spreading the **** all around. Just be a man and spray your ass out with a garden hose.

If others opinions were this tough on you, I think you also need to get it together and sack up, brother. This is a gun board, not reddit. I'm guessing this is likely going to infuriate you but hopefully it ends up helping.

You don't need a thousand rolls of toilet paper. Just follow the teachings and advice of that tree hugger, singer Sheryl Crow. Sheryl Crow says to limit one square per sitting. Now, that is good thinking. If I ever meet the woman, I won't be shaking hands with her.

I can't watch Ned Beaty in a movie without thinking, "squeal like a pig". Same with Sheryl Crow. I see her and wonder if she has a nasty a**

I'm not a prepper.....yet other than not being able to have a few beers at my brewery with my friends, this "Covid-19 apocalypse" has had no effect on me either.

Just curious. $23T in debt hasn't caused rampant inflation. Why will $4T more?
Explain please....???

+1911 TejanoViejo, USMM, TRS, copper and others who've shared similar sentiments.

Speaks well of the class that firearm enthusiasts typically have. We don't go around laughing at and belittling others (well, other than those leftist Dems, and even then, only as push-back for their threats to dismantle Constitutional rights). Most of us try to be prepared for troubles, in part so as not to be a burden to others, but we don't see any need to go around trumpeting ourselves, then laughing at and belittling others. We're more inclined to care at least a little, oftentimes a lot, about others around us.

Wow aren’t you proud of yourself for acting like a complete jack ass! I do not prep and have had zero issues with food, toilet paper, or any other items I may need. Now I did invest $15,000 into a new home theater and it’s paying off in dividends! Makes the time fly by!
See, during times of peril, the American spirit causes us to come together and become stronger collectively more so than the threat! Proven time and time again throughout out our history!
Also, never even needed to use a weapon or a single bullet to defend myself. Why because there is no human threat. Also I did have to buy off brand toilet paper so I use to wipe the **** off my ass as I think of jack asses like you.

Just FYI 1 square is for pee only. Poop requires multiple squares. .
I know only because I asked my wife about how much she uses daily to ensure long term stock.

Everyone is feeling good about themselves now. Wait until the unemployment runs out. We have not seen anything yet. Then plans will really get tested.

People here in the South end of Florida try to always be prepared. Hurricane Season is just around the corner which means most people had already stocked up with at least 2 weeks of food. Still haven't figured out why the run on toilet paper unless the people were stealing it from work before. And now had to buy their own. Our normal stock ranges from 36 to 72 rolls depending on when BJ's had it on sale.

There are people that talk the talk but when things gets really ugly, which it hasn't, these talkers fold pretty quickly.
These talkers brag about preparations and people listen. The real survivors now know of an easy source of supplies.
