Pre-Series II Picture Thread

How about we start a picture thread just for pre-series II guns? I now own five pre-series II guns, and I absolutely love 'em! Here's a few to start with. Sadly, I don't own the gun in the first picture anymore, but I own two other "Clacks."

Any chance we could get this thread stickied?

Well, they are still working on wrapping up the Clacks (they have a few more to go) but there was 5 years of production of Kimbers before the SII came along. That would mean there is somewhere around 200,000 (give or take) pre-SII Kimbers out there.

While we don't know for sure, speculation has it that there were around 7500 or so with the Clack rollmark.

(They won't get this one.)

That's more than I would have thought. Throw a few dozen up here, I got time,... you've got the porn.

Oh FR Baseball, take that UGLY CMP10 out of that nice weapon and repost. That thing hurts my eyes!

No problem. Thread stickied. Whenever the heck I can get a couple good pictures of my two pre-II's, I'll get 'em up. (including my Clackamas).

One more, my newest Kimber, a Classic Stainless LE. Don't even have it in my hands yet, it will be here Friday. Picture shamelessly stolen from original owner. The grips will be replaced with some VZ's, and I'll throw a stainless S&A magwell on it too.

Built in June of 1996. Found it new, unfired in 2003:

Here's one of my Clacks! With a few additions by a local Smith. The other Clack is LNIB and resides in the safe. I think I'll save it till this one wears out. Along with the changes you see, trigger and reliability job. It does shoot nice.
