I was told I couldn't get the Scout Elite XL with front checkering, just the chainlink. Has anyone felt they preferred the checkering over the chainlink?

3 of a Kind

Gents & Others, Just getting the nerve to submit photos of my 3 recently finished Fusion .45 acps, #1 a 5" Target, #2 a Commander, #3 an Officers. All 3 are a matched set in appearance with mods. reflected for their intended purpose only. Going to have to learn how to submit photos. Please be gental as the "doc" says I have a serious OCD case of the 1911-type A1! Mr. Bob Serva is 1 heck of a customer service "PRO". I will try to provide the photos as local assistance provides. Thanks, HART CUSTOM

3 of a Kind

Well Gents, I will try to submit photos of my 3 recently finished Fusion 1911s, please be patient if they do not show up on the first try. In my own defense, my camera is much more sophisticated than ability to use it so far so don't blame the camera. Thanks!

This just arrived in yesterday's mail for me. My dealer told me that I had received a package from someone named Serva. He had absolutely no clue what was inside. He had not yet opened the package when I showed up.

Boy, did his eyes ever pop out when he saw that this is what the package contained:

The figure in that White Cocobolo grip is absolutely gorgeous. I'm so glad that I got it. I had never even heard of White Cocobolo before I visited the Fusion web site. All Cocobolo grips I had ever seen before had a beautiful red color to them.

And the fit of slide to frame is tighter than a mummy's bandages!!

Can't wait to shoot my new Fusion 1911 this weekend!

Fusion Grips

Bob !

Do you sell fancy wood grips by themselves? I sure would love to get a pair for my 90 Series Colt.

Yes, in fact he does. If you go to the Fusion Firearms website, you will see a link there to his EBAY store. I just checked, the model of grips on my pistol are on sale there for only $24.95!!!

Gee whiz, here I thought that the grips on my gun were super expensive. They look better than Hogue grips that I have paid many times that price for.

Just remember, it is an auction. Nothing of quality goes for free.

Actually, in looking over his Ebay auctions, it is really quite amazing. Virtually no bidding of any kind going on at all. So I believe getting these grips at the starting price is easily feasible. For some one else has to also bid in order for the price to go up. People must not be bothering to even check out his Ebay store and take a look there.

Fusion Firearms does have a tiny handful of completed handguns up for auction on gunbroker.com too. It is only about a total of 9 guns, but again, it doesn't seem like anyone even knows about them being available for immediate sale and delivery.

In fact, they have one completed pistol up for sale right now on gunbroker.com that is virtually identical to the gun you pictured. Except it has an ambidextrous safety, and has smooth white cocobolo grips, instead of the smooth red cocobolo grips. It looks just as nice as my gun, or the gun you ordered.

And the starting price on it is only $1,295 And again, people just don't seem to know about these being available, and no one is bidding on them. Heck, one could get this completed pistol right now, and not have to wait the normal 3 1/2 months!!

Of course, you wouldn't get a fully custom gun, built to your exact requirements with the options exactly the way you want. But this sure is one beautiful gun on gunbroker.com, that anyone here could get in their hands in a matter of days:

Heck, even the BUY NOW option on the gun is only $100 more. Is anyone here seeking some instant gratification??

This gun looks just as awesome as mine is. The gunbroker auction # is 104015003

.
