Crimson Trace grip cleaning

I bought a used 1911 which came with Crimson Trace grips a few years ago. I took them off right away, but recently pulled them out of my parts bin. The grips are pretty grungy and I'd like to clean them up and use them. Any words of wisdom as to what I should and shouldn't do? They seem to work fine and I don't want to screw the electronic up.

A call or email to Crimson Trace would get you the best info.

^^^^^ This! The OEM can usually give the best guidance for such things.

Thanks. I sent them an email. We’ll see what they say.
