Write yourself a note to call me back lady ... Its your company's fault

courteous , friendly , She called you back and was very nice to talk to .
Dave Williams was the same , Both Professionals . Deb sucked .
Wow.....That is some serious commitment on your part to handle her job in regards to your purchase.

28 months is a big tie investment....I remember reading about the Professional delivery times during that timeframe.....whew.

Biiiiiiigggggg price change, too. OUCH.

I'd say you have some seriously extensive experience with the SACS.

Here's hoping they find some new balance that will cover more specific customer-driven work as well as fill their demand for the package guns.

OK, if you guys were trying to freak me out it worked. I'm starting to get a little nervous that I might get my gun sent back to me with a note saying "We don't do this stuff anymore, goodbye".
I'll give them a call on Monday.

Hey if they are doing checkering again its a great move in the right direction .

I for one am very hopeful SACS will return to something with the frame work
of what it used to be . Nothing would put a big smile on my face more to know
then use SACS services again . I just might buy a Ronin just to spend money
with Springfield . Then send it in for checkering and have the frame coated
just to show my support . Or find another used pistol like a V16 and send it
in to have it restored by SACS . I would love nothing more then supporting
Springfield in that direction .

I going to say with one prefix . ACW gets my money first for a concealed carry
model Because Rob was there when Springfield dropped me as a customer when
they cut SACS off from us regular guys .

They finished up my Custom Carry with a few changes (20 LPI front checkering, 10-8 .140 rear, .125 gold bead front in approximately 6 months). Delivered spring of 2016. Original estimate was one year. Either way I was never troubled by the original estimate considering some of the backlogs with independents.

Interesting to see how folks think a company should be run and what other should do with their money. It's as if springfield forces people to use their custom shop.

Just customers expressing opinions . Where someone would get forcing
anything about SACS from missing a good service , is not reading the
thread .

I think it's a good idea to inform a company of consumer/customer sentiment. It *may* inform their decision making. After all they are in it to make money and if they are unaware of a large source of revenue there is a chance we could influence that.

That said I don't even think they read these forums so they probably don't even know we exist, no?

Yeah, I'm not bothered or anything. They just didn't tell me anything on time frames so I was curious. It's not my EDC so if it turns out to be 6 months that's fine. It would suck but not a big deal. I just would like them to tell me I guess. That's all.

Yup. ACW is the real deal.

I'm jonesing for a Prime Elite Hard Chrome in .38S.

It'll be later this year before I can act on such.

Nice to hear that you are interested.

I'd be much more enthused to hear that Springfield Armory is interested.

I have a few of their guns I'd like to send in to their custom shop for some work.

By the way....welcome to the forum.

So I called them yesterday and good thing I did. They said that they called me and left a VM telling me to cal them. I never received any VM . I'm guessing they fat fingered the phone number because they have my correct phone number. They never emailed me or even replied to my email to them. No telling how long it would have sat there if I was patient.

At any rate they charged my CC and now they are supposed to call me back with a tracking number when they ship it. Or they will call someone else and give him my tracking number . I'll give it a day and call back.

It really is a shame to see what SACS has become over the last few years...at one point in time they were at the top of the game in my opinion. Both in custom work(full house) and customer service. Hell I can’t even call now and talk to someone over their custom shop anymore with a question.

I made a call a few weeks back about warranty work ona custom shop pistol and the guy I was speaking with told me the work would be completed by the standard gun line Smith’s......***..I had to clarify that it was a custom gun.

Now with Deb out of the picture (like her or hate her) I feel like there is no direction.

I guess time wil tell where this will end up.

BTW this is coming from the biggest SACS fanboy you will meet.
