What's next? Distressed finishes for brand spanking new cars and trucks? Makes as much sense as permanently caked on plaster fake mud, rust and dents around the fenders of a Jeep Wrangler so everyone thinks you been out in the woods 4-wheeling on the weekends?
Got news for you... people have actually done that with their Jeeps and 4-wheel pickups. America is a land full of people who like to dress up and play make-believe well into their adult years.

You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

There are also "road worn" electric guitars. New instruments with worn finish, dents, and even cigarette burns where players would park their cigarette under the string on the headstock. Just in case you don't smoke, I guess.

Sounds like a cowboy action shoot LOL. Went to one a few years back and it was a blast to watch. Talked to one guy who was a brain surgeon in the real world. Great group of people enjoying their 2a rights.

Now if you really want an eye opener go to a comicon. Have not seen that much spandex since the 80's.

They're an eye-opener, alright. Saw one here in Seattle and I think they should've called it Cleavage-con.

A internet meme where "boogaloo" refers to "civil war" (version 2.0)

Comes from a bad break dancing movie sequel called "Breakin'2: Electric Boogaloo" [1984]. Adding "electric boogaloo" to anything means it's a sequel, only worse production values. So, the "inevitable civil war with the government" was being labelled "civil war 2: Electric Boogaloo", which was just shortened to "the boogaloo". If you're confused, here's a clip from the movie where they do "dance combat": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsaA903oxvc. And yes, there really are idiots on the internet.

Okay, thanks! That does make sense when you think of it.

It's a joke that started on AR15.com General Discussion, and eventually spread to other forms of social media. "Boogaloo", "Big Igloo", "larger ice shelter" and other silly similar sounding terms are a reference to a second civil war or general civil unrest.

Don't know what the BOOGALOO is?! "Boogaloo" -
A term popular among many Libertarians, mostly based in the United States.
Definition: A term to describe the action of actively rebelling against the government (State or Federal) when said federal government (or state government) tries to enforce tyrannical rule upon its citizens, taking away their rights to arms and then their inalienable human rights. This in any case is the prepared civilian response to such case, think bug-out bags and doomsday preppers but with a lot more weapons and munitions. Hawaiian shirts, gas masks and dual night vision headgear are standard attire. Type it in the search box on Facebook, or try Boogaloo Memes in a search engine.
