Need help finding parts

i just picked up a slim hawg that apparently was put away soaking wet for some reason......needless to say is has quite a bit of internal rust. I need to replace some parts such as the sear spring and honestly would like to replace all the springs in the gun. Where in the world do you find these parts?

Check Sarco and Numrich as they bought left over parts from Para.

Numrich likely has the sear spring... but they just list them as something like "small, medium, large." When I needed a spring for my Warthog I just ordered one of each since the shipping was high. I'd started with a bare frame, so I didn't have a spring to start with.

You might try measuring your old spring, calling or emailing Numrich, and seeing if someone will measure their springs and see if one will fit.

If your gun has one of the *other* Para spring lengths, some people have had good results by annealing the bottom of a GI spring, bending it over to the needed length, and Dremeling off the excess metal so it fits the frame slot properly.

The rest of the FCG parts *should* be standard bits... Para played fast and loose (or "innovated") a bit in the early days, but abandoned most of that and went back to GI bits in later years. Your gun should be late enough for that not to be an issue.
