Dan Wesson Classic CBob 10mm to 45acp?

Did a search but did not find anything. I guess I'm asking if you could just switch the barrel and mag, of a DW CBob Classic in 10 mm to a 45 acp barrel and mag, and have a pistol to fire both rounds? THANKS!

Not likely. The width of the case, and therefore the breech face of the slide are not the same. The ejector is also different. You need a new slide, barrel, and mags at a minimum to make this work, but this does not address the ejector though.

No the different breech face between .45 and 10mm is the main thing plus the slide stop/ejector/extractor. Now 10 mm and 40S&W can interchange.

When I was thinking of converting my CBOB to 10mm, Keith at DW said i needed a complete top end as the bolt face on the slide was different, and a barrel swap was not feasible

I have a Razorback 10mm and was going to install a Fusion 357sig barrel and play around with that. Should be same mags but maybe a lighter spring.
