Fortunately it appears the bus had surveillance inside, and there were three uninvolved witnesses. So far it seems that the cops are backing the shooter.

Sounds like one of Charles Bronson's movies.

It's good that people are defending themselves and fighting back.

I hope the shooter is not a 'WHITE HISPANIC' like George Zimmerman was labeled.

Here's what we have: After the shooting and witnesses interviewed the shooter (a security guard) was not arrested.

So, that suggests ---SUGGESTS, not guarantees, that the shooter is innocent of criminal wrongdoing.

However, I don't know what the deal is with civil suits in PA. One thing to consider there is that per the story, one of the teens was shot in his butt. Don't know at this point if that was an exit wound or not.

It's easy to take a bullet in the back or butt if you reflexively spin around as you're being shot. It doesn't automatically mean you were intentionally shot from behind, despite what Hollywood might want people to believe.

Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

A lot of it MAY depend on what flavor the shooter and the shootees were. (In CA it would depend a LOT on that.)

dsk------- I agree. But getting shot in the rear end can look bad in civil court. More so than Criminal court, which is more fact-based.

Need more info and a look at the video would be helpful. Any audio would be great too.

Yes, but barring that, the facts presented favor the shooter on this one.

Only if your legal team has no clue how to mount a proper defense. Provided you didn't actually shoot him in the butt deliberately, of course.

Generally it seems that the perp can turn around quicker than you can stop shooting. Both parties are highly incentivized.
